We’re a team of plebeian Light Novel fans just like the rest of you. We formed Plebeian after reading the first volume of Chiramune and decided to translate the series so that everyone can experience and enjoy reading Chiramune just like us. FAQ
Are your translations Fan Translated or Machine Translated?
Both! Our translation process consists using machine translation (MTL) first to get a general draft. Then, our team of RAW translators go through the draft and cross check with the original Light Novel translated from their own knowledge. Finally, it is then checked again by our team of editors to double check for any issues in the final fan translation (FTL). This way, you get the best quality translation from both worlds!
How long will it take for chapters or parts to be published?
This can vary. Typically, it will be about a few weeks. However, depending on staff availability, it can even take a month or more. You can join our Discord server in order to be updated.
Will you take on translating any other Light Novel series?
Depends. Our main focus is Chitose is in the Ramune Bottle (Chiramune). However, we may start one as a side project while waiting for the latest volumes. This will, however, require affirmation from Novelupdate votes that the series we’re looking at is worth the time to invest translating.
